Preserving the Legacy of Otology

Home
In the early 20th century, Otology (ENT) Departments across the United States established temporal bone histopathology laboratories.
These innovations were inspired by European prototypes and became integral to understanding the anatomy and physiology of the human ear.
However, as time progressed, many of these laboratories closed, leaving behind invaluable archival collections in need of attention.
